The blend of Celtic and Nordic mythology will protrude even further - much to fan happiness. Another brilliant journey is on the horizon from what we can make of it.

We expect intense environmental assets flying around combat scenes - and fluid animation to capture every expression. The hardware capabilities of the new console generation will bring Senua's Saga: Hellblade 2 to life. We aren't expecting too much to change in combat and objectives, but an enhanced story paired with stunning models and visuals. Mythical auras in the locations can create challenging puzzles and the potential to unravel more of Senua's dark past. It presents surfaces that are ideal for battlegrounds. The environment is ideal against the previous mechanics. The black sands and volcanoes confirm the location of the game in Iceland. The colors are dark, the atmosphere is livid, and it sets up yet another tense journey - a story that hasn't come to fruition yet. Much Celtic chanting and emotional facial expressions lead to the climax of harrowing Norsemen hanging limbs and marching towards something. But this is speculation and we remain largely in the dark.Much like the first game - the trailer presenting the second part is intense.

There’s also some hints towards Vikings – which would make sense given the time period. The trailer shows pagan rituals, breathtaking landscapes, limbs hanging from archways and a few battle sequences. Hellblade 2’s story seems to be much darker than its predecessor. We don’t have too many details on the upcoming sequel, but everything we know about Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2 can be found below. Hellblade 2 will further navigate the role of Senua’s psychosis in the plot and in its gameplay, but how it will do that remains to be seen. In a world overpopulated by first-person shooters and battle royales, Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice stood out for mixing psychological horror with hack and slash gameplay, including a fresh look at ancient mythology and featuring a rare study of mental illness in gaming.
